In fact, if you check my post history on you can see what a true burden I was to the community: I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. My first week with Blender could best be described as embarrassing. I remember making a commitment right then and there that I was going to learn how to use this software “Blender” until I could make my own car. I went to a few sites before stumbling upon , and saw this render: So I went online and searched for “free 3d software”. I thought how cool it would be if I could create my own car in 3d. One night in 2004 I was playing Need For Speed II, and admiring the beauty of the 3d cars. The goal of this site is to help you understand Blender, and create amazing results you can be proud of. NB. ![]() I loved the photorealistic puddles tutorial, i downloaded the re-usable node group prepared by Blender Guru and connected the approprite/respective sockets to the node group but the wetness slider dosent affect my material as on the tutorial but if i copy my mesh (plane) into the original file sent by Bledner Gruru, the surface getas affected appropriatley. ![]()
